Mark Marion

A lifelong resident of the Ardmore area, Mark began his career in construction at an early age, working with his grandfather. After high school, he earned his degree in Building Construction Technology in 1982, and began building custom homes on his own in 1984, specializing in concrete, framing, cabinets and trim. Since then, Mark has maintained a reputation as one of the area’s premier quality builders. Not merely a contractor, Mark is a craftsman, with an eye for detail, and a desire to help his clients achieve their goals of a truly custom home.

Aylisa Marion

Aylisa, also a lifelong Ardmore area resident, took an active role in Mark’s homebuilding business, also meeting with clients and assisting them with interior design choices. After Mark and Aylisa built their second home together, they realized they work very well as a team, and began designing and building spec homes in the Ardmore area in 2000. In their search to find quality flooring at cost-effective pricing, the couple decided to try decorative concrete in their spec homes. Mark attended trainings in decorative concrete techniques, and also began installing concrete countertops in the couple’s spec homes. The results were well-received, and Mark’s custom home clients began to insist on decorative concrete for their homes as well. The demand for decorative concrete continued to grow, until virtually all their homes, both custom and spec, contain decorative concrete.

On December 1, 2008, Mark and Aylisa opened the doors to their showroom and warehouse, Concrete Perceptions, Inc. at 214 West Main Street in beautiful downtown Ardmore. They created a place for you to come and explore the possibility of decorative concrete in your space.
